College Wrestling 27

Privacy Policy

Overview

College Wrestling 27 is a single-player wrestling career simulation. There are no user accounts — your gameplay stays on your device. We do use limited, non-personalized analytics to understand how the game is used (see "Analytics" below), and the free version shows ads served by Google (see "Advertising" below); you can remove ads with the Remove Ads, Pro, or All-Access purchase.

Data we collect

Information you provide in the game — wrestler name, career choices, stats, schedules, and other gameplay data you create while playing.

Device storage — save files are stored locally on your device (IndexedDB in the browser or native app storage on iPhone) so you can continue careers across sessions.

Usage analytics — gameplay events (for example, starting a career, completing a season, or finishing a purchase) tagged with a random device ID we generate, not your name or account. See "Analytics" below.

Purchase email — if you buy through the web checkout (Stripe), Stripe collects your email address so we can restore your purchases if you reinstall or switch devices. Apple App Store purchases are handled entirely by Apple; we only receive an anonymous transaction ID to unlock your entitlement, never your Apple ID or payment details.

We do not collect your real-world name, location, photos, contacts, or payment/card details directly in the app.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics on the web app for aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic metrics (e.g., page views), and may use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand gameplay usage patterns — for example, which features are used or where players drop off. These events are tied to a random device identifier, not to your name, email, or any account. This data is not sold and is not shared with advertisers.

How data is used

  • Run the game and restore your saved careers
  • Let you export a backup JSON file if you choose to
  • Restore your purchases if you reinstall the app or switch devices
  • Understand how players use the game so we can improve it

Your gameplay data (wrestler names, careers, stats) is not sold and is never sent to advertisers.

Advertising

The free version of the mobile app shows ads, including banner ads and occasional full-screen ads between seasons, plus optional rewarded videos you choose to watch. Ads are provided by Google AdMob in the mobile app. The web version does not show ads. To serve ads in the mobile app, Google may collect and process device information such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, and general ad-interaction data. This data is handled by Google under Google's privacy & terms.

On iPhone, the app asks for your permission (the App Tracking Transparency prompt) before allowing personalized ads, and where required we show Google's consent form. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are non-personalized.

You can turn ads off entirely by buying Remove Ads, Pro, or the All-Access Pass. Ads never appear during the in-match minigame.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal gameplay data, and we do not share it with advertisers. If you export a save file, you control where that file is stored or shared. We do use a small number of service providers to run the app and process purchases: Stripe (checkout and subscription billing), Apple (App Store purchases), and Google Firebase (gameplay analytics). Each only receives the data described above, needed to perform its function.

Hosting providers (such as Vercel) may process standard technical logs when you load the web app (for example, IP address and request metadata) to deliver the site. We do not receive those logs directly in the game.

Retention & deletion

Saves remain on your device until you clear a career slot, delete app/browser data, or remove the app. You can delete in-game progress from Settings or the main menu slot controls.

Children

The game is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through separate registration flows because the app does not require an account.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
